i have 2 problems, one about epsxe and another about iso burning. I was playing driver 2 on epsxe, and went to save it, and it froze on me. and when i downloaded the second cd of driver 2, it didnt have a ccd file. any tips on either?

A ccd file if I recall is just something like a CUE file.. So its not strictly necesarry, the image may still load fine. You just have to point to it in the loading window, if it is looking for a different extension.
As for the save problem, no idea. That could really be anything. A program bug, an emulation bug, the program doing something your specific system doesn't like, etc.
If it was a freeze on an internal save (the games actual save system) then try using save states instead (I think epsxe supports them?? not sure) or vice versa.
