How do you play games on ESXPE 1.7.0 (I'm new)

Alright I just spent atleast 2 hours trying to figure out how to download all the stuff needed to set up ESXPE...but now IDK how to play games

Do I need to download them from a torrent website (I know I can just use disks but i sold most of them a long time ago)?

I am currently looking for Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, so if anybody can help me find them, I would be more than appreciated

I had the same problem for a while. It's really simple, first you just have to download Winrar. Most PSx roms are in rar files, so you put the rar files together in one folder, then load up win rar and extract them so they become IMG or BIN files and move then in the same folder as the emulator and choose select iso.
