    Default Playing games on ePSXe

I have 1.6 with all the required bios files and plugins and it seems to be installed correctly. i'm not sure how to acquire an ISO or a game. I don't have game discs and anything i see for download is a .rar which I can't open with Winzip. What exactly is an ISO and how do i get it to run on the psx emulator?

An ISO is a file format usually used to store disk images. The site rules prevent linking to copyright material, roms or rom sites so you will need to obtain them on their own.

You can use an ISO to burn your own CD/DVD, you can play it natively in some emulators (like ePSXe) and you can also mount it to a virtual CD/DVD drive on your PC. If you have an original game disk you can use software to convert it to an ISO file on your PC.
