Whoops, Page was updated, I feel dumb.
I probably also should feel dumb for not seeing an edit button

Backup launcher gamma only runs wii games, no gc games.

I know. Like I said, I scrolled down and noticed that's what I as looking for. The page was updated for something about a Gamecube backup thing XD.

So how exactly does it work anyways? does it install a channel you use or does it get the original Disk Channel to read them? Or does it not even use a channel and just play the games on the disk straight from the program on the Homebrew channel?

Do we even have an edit button here?!

And would this disk work fine?

I think the you can't edit a post after 30mins...
    DVD-Rs are best.
If you want to try and see if your current dvd's will so the job skip ahead to the Burning section. But if you don't have any dvd-r's laying around you can buy the listed brands at sites like newegg and tigerdirect or even your local electronics shop. Keep in mind that dvd+r's might work too, but for the wii to read those your need to set the book type to dvd-rom, you can find out how here. You can also use rewritable dvd's but few wii's read them, most have trouble reading them.

..also, I used imgburn, and it worked fine with x3 and x4 burning speed.

Well what are some games that fit on it? I tried Tatsunoko vs. Capcom which didn't fit so I tried compressing it which didn't work.

Well is there some way to get a good success rate from RW's? Because sounds like using one disk and erasing it instead of having tons of disks lying around sounds more practical.

And they should make an edit button that lasts forever instead of making people double post...

Well I tried DVDx too which didn't get it to work (even though you don't need that for backup loader).

And how do I play burnt Gamecube games on Wii anyways? I missed out on alot of those

Wii games are usually not higher than 4.5GB, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is only 3gb(compressed/rar).

I know that. The program I was using sucked.

Well I don't have DVD-R's and my Wii isn't one that wants to read DVD-RW so what should I do?

And how much do DVD-R's run for?
