Default Problems with Grandia and Tales of Destiny 2

Hello there, this is my first post here! (finally )

I recently got into trying ePSXe and now I am having a few problems while running certain games; The games in question are Grandia and Tales of Destiny 2.

    Grandia:

During certain scenes, "Extra Text" suddenly shows up at the end of sentences.

In the example shown above it doesn't seem like much, but it can get really bad later on, making dialogues a very hard read at some points. It never happens during battles or while checking menus, only during conversations and only when the dialogue box is filled with two or more lines of text.

    Tales of Destiny 2:

At the end of every battle, right after the final hit is made, a green screen covers everything. When the numbers start to show up (the ones that show exp. and money gained) it goes back to normal.

Also, during the raft mini-game early on, that very same screen pops up every time the raft hits an obstacle. Making the whole scene very hard to play through. >_<

I also have trouble with the voices, where you can hear the first bit of the next dialogue at the end of the current one. I always turn them off (hate english dubs) but the problem remains regardless.

I am currently using ePSXe 1.7.0 with Pete's D3D Driver 1.77. Both games are running from an ISO and I have Windows XP on my computer.

Hope the mods won't mind this "bump".

I didn't feel like starting yet another thread for this, specially when the issue explained in the first post is still very present. >_<

The new issue at hand is from the game Dino Crisis 2:

<-- the arrows show were the characters are.

Whenever a cutscene starts, the characters appear to be "hidden" behind the backgrounds. Everything works fine while I play, but every time a cutscene begins, the problem appears again.

As with the two examples above, this game is also running from an ISO.

    EDIT:

Was finally able to go around the issue. My crisis in DC 2 is now history!
