Problems with Resident Evil 3

OK so i've downloaded all 7 of the games files and have extacted them, but when i start the game the opening scene starts fine but when it ends nothing happens afterwards my screen just turns black and it doesnt bring me to the menu where i can choose to play the game or not it just stays black. Does anyone know a solution, thanks

ok. look up the pSX emulator on google. guarantee that it will work. epsxe is VERY picky. the emulator above works with most if not all roms. i even made backup cds, and they work in it. hope this helps.
