Got mp hunters, trying to load it to no$gba. Also, I have another question...

I have a legally made mp hunters ROM, now, and when I load it with no$gba, it takes me to a screen where the top screen is just grey, and the bottom screen is grey with a black box in the center with some Japanese writing. I've used the configured controls, along with the mouse, and I can't seem to get past this. I was told to do the same as I did when playing the mp hunters game on the ds,(which I don't have a nds) which leads to another question I have.

Someone on another emu forum I joined heard that I didn't own a nintendo ds, so he claimed that what I was doing was illeagil, a violation to the forum rules, and not supported by the site. I read the forum rules there twice, and nowhere does it say that you have to own a nintendo ds... it just says you have to get your ROMs leagilly. Why would there be a nintendo ds emulator on this planet if you have to own a nds to use it? That's kind of like saying Itunes is illeagil, when really, it's only illeagil to download songs for free that are already for sale. Another person replied asking "Why would you buy a game and not the console?".
Is this true? I am 90% sure it's not, but I just wanted to be sure.

You have to own the system to have the emu legally. That's not a forum rule, that's the law.

Hmm. So, I could just run to a friends house, borrow their ds for a month, and then I can legally use the emulator until I give the ds back? Do you have a link to a government/nintendo site that shows this law?
If that's illeagil, then it's illeagil for me to buy...super mario ds, and just let the game collect dust. It would also be illeagil to buy a nintendo ds game with your own money and drop it off a cliff. Once you own a piece of software, no one can tell you how you use it, just as long as you don't make money off of it. Who knows. Maybe someone out there knows how to convert a ps3 game to an xbox game. It's leagil for him/her to do that, as long as he/she does not sell the xbox version.
I have iDVD on my mac. I am allowed to get rid of my dvd player, and I can still leagilly go out and purchase DVD's to play them on my computer.
Windows operating systems can run on a mac, now. I am allowed to go out and buy a copy of windows vista and convert my mac to it, as well as run it using a windows emulator such as crossover, even if I didn't own a "windows console", or in other words, a pc.
Sorry for my rambling on and on, just stating why that law has to be re-thought...I'm not saying that they need to make it leagil all of a sudden, just saying that they can't set off a nuclear bomb in the middle of a war and only have the bad guys die.

Lol, I think you're missing the point. If you borrow a DS it still isn't yours so you can't use the emu legally.

Buying a game is a little different then downloading an emu for free.

How the hell is someone gonna convert a PS3 game to Xbox? Now you're just saying crazy things and proving nothing.

So, then that nintendo ds has to be purchased new if you want to use an emulator. If I went and bought 10,000 used nintendo ds's, nintendo wouldn't make a cent.

Buying a game is just purchasing some material, which you can do whatever you want with other than redistribute it or sell it.

How does it make no sense? By using the emu without owning the system you're taking money away from the Nintendo company... makes sense to me.
