    Default hardware save virtuanes

how do you emulate the hardware save. I want it to save like the original Nes hardware, because right now I can only use save states.
Why does "slow down" and "slow up" mean the same thing?

I don't have that much experience with the NES emulators, but maybe this emulator simply can't save automatically?

VirtuaNES, as said in the title

VirtuaNES should be able to do a hardware save, but not too much NES games support that. Are you sure you used games that support that function (like SMB3 f.e.)?
