    Cool lockNES

I have created a NES emulator and I think that I'm off to a really good start, but I'm looking for some input. :
....and thanks in advance for any comments.

    Thumbs up Re: lockNES

Yo man, this is really really good for just the start. I mean, you have more in here in your first release than I've seen in a lot of other emulators that have been out for a while. I like that you can download roms right in your emulator. Keep it up!

Did not work for me, But here is the VirusTotal Scan of the exe

    http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/1...23cb9dd3cc3213

Seems to be clean but kinda suspicious with the 1 post poster and 1 post responder claiming it to be amazing, also to note that the reply was done about 10 min later. Also the Config.ini file included is blank, its also packaged with 5 NES roms in the .rar So who knows how long this post will stay unlocked due to rules.

    EDIT:
Nod32 v4 did find some stuff in my virtual machine, fyi so I dont think this is clean in anyway at all. Some DMServer.dll.

The virus warning is a false positive, so the file is OK.

Are the 5 roms included retail games or homebrew/otherwise non-copyrighted?

At any rate, I'm not sure I like the idea of people distributing emulators through the forums.. We have a whole web site dedicated to that, so why not submit it.. And the first reply from a new users and so fast is highly suspicious. The IP address of both users is identical.

This is not the correct way to go about things.. and because this is highly suspect I'm removing the link and locking the thread.

If this is a genuine emulator then you need to submit it to The Emulator Zone and let it go through the standard security checks. You're second account is also banned and I don't reccomend you try this again.

Also it needs to be said, I'm more likely to ban something like this from what appears to be a NEW program/emulator/whatever. Posting about updated versions of products and linking to a page is one thing. Most are already established and have a reputation. Most emulators even have a basic web site, no matter how small or new. This whole thread reeks of everything wrong.
