Default Annoying problem on snes9x! >:[

This problem is acctuallt very annoying and I have no clue how to disable it. This might not only happen to me but if it has and u know how to fix it, plese help me

The problem is that sometimes the emulator (not the rom) fast forwards randomly in the most unexpected time and its very annoying.

I tried other Emulators and they didn't have that problem.

I also tried to fix it by disabling the fast forward shortcut, aand turned the fast forward frame skipping to 0... it still doesn't work

    Help?

(snes9x has a lot of damn tech problems)

oh and I also forgot to say, when I tried Zsnes, Zsnes doesn't have that problem but the thing I don't like about Zsnes is that my game pad doesn't work on Zsnes.

AND if anyone can tel me how I can fix a dodgy ROM because I have a SuperMetroid dodgy rom and the sound is messed up

Seems like FPS limit is disabled. I don't remember; it's been a very long time I stopped using Snes9x

zsnes is the best so i think the best solution is to make a controller work for it.

I use an xbox 360 wired controller with zsnes and it works fine once you get used to the somewhat mushy control pad. if you have one of these controllers and haven't used it with your computer then just go to this address:
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...ilyid=0E989B12 ...

or if you have a mac go here:
    http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/29122

then you just go to configure and input, click on each box and then press the button on your control pad. Also, for whatever controller you are trying to use now check that the drivers are right... good luck

    I prefer Zsnes to snes9x as well....however

This doesn't help him if he doesn't have a 360 pad though. The best thing to do if your pad isn't compatible with an emulator is to use a workaround app like Joy2Key or XPadder which will convert any joypad/stick input into keypresses which can then be mapped to your emulator.
