PSX 1.13 sound cut

Is there any way to fix this. When I'm playing games on it, the sound gets cut. It only happens in certain areas of the game and some parts of the game, it plays entirely (like during a cutscene). Any way to fix?

am new to ps1 emulaters so im not going to be much help but all tell you what i know ? make sure that SPU IR HACK is ticked it switches itself off when you exit the programme and all the sound boxes are ticked in the that screen or config the sound itself <which i always fail > or you can try switching sound driver my Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41 works well with a mojority of games
but the big sound problem im having at the moment is with the Resident evil games sound cuts out or no sound at all
graphics are spot on sound bad
i know what your going through im having the same problem

Did you make your own ISO?. There are lots of hacked/cracked/ripped and just plain crap PS1 ISO's out there.
Finding a reliable source for good dumps is a must.
