Problem with ePSXe 2D plugin

I use the default 2D plugin, the gpuPeopsSoft.dll 117 version. In fact if I download another 2D plugin it wont let me switch. I simply dont know how to switch either. My system settings:

Intel Celeron CPU 2.80GHz
2.80 GHz, 448 MB of RAM

Its a Toshiba laptop. If you need anymore info on the comp then I would need to know how to access that info. I go that info from Control Panel - System.

Im trying to run Megaman X4 & its just too slow. It wont urn normally. Plus now It wont display fullscreen. I see the taskbar and time display while the rest is fine. Im running it from the ISO itself.

Did you try other emulators, like pSX?
