How To Launch MAME & Game At System Boot

Not sure if anyone can help here - but I am sure that there are a whole load of knowledgeable people on the software front and my main forte is hardware... sadly

I am looking to boot my PC straight into MAME with the various options set - I am looking to boot into Robotron to be precise

I am happy with making registry entries or more simply launching from the start programs menu in the Documents & Settings sub-directory - however, i think I may need some sort of script to or pointer to launch mame -robotron with the extra flags

Can anyone point me in the right direction for some sort of tech info resource to enable me to achieve this

You can create a shortcut to mame.exe or whatever it is (not familiar with mame), then go to properties of that shortcut, target and put all the flags after the mame.exe and before the ending quotation marks. After that's done, put it in startup folder in Start -> All Programs.
