Default Help with transferring save files to different emulator

I just recently downloaded a SNES emulator and am playing Chrono Trigger. I don't like the emulator i am currently using and got a much better one, but i am 16 hours into the game and can't figure out how to transfer my current save file on the older one to my new one.

    Help?

Which emulator are you using, which emulator do you want to transfer the save to, and what format is the game save in?.

I am using snes9x, i want to start using zsnesw, and im honestly not sure what you mean by format. I just save the game by clicking on file and selecting "slot 1". Does that help?

Afaik you should be ok swapping them straight over.

Both emulators will have a saves folder in the main emulator folder. Thats where it saves the gamesave files to. They should be in .srm format, just copy all the files over to the saves folder for the other emulator.
