Unhappy Super Mario Kart (SNES) Problem

    Hi all,

So I recently, ahem, reacquired a lot of the genius SNES games of my youth, the best of all imo being MK. Unfortunately, when I play the game (anyone who knows it will be familiar with this) I am unable to pick up weapons/coins for some reason. I assumed it was some kind of emulation problem (I was using snes9x) so I downloaded Zsnes, yet the problem remains!

Does anyone know how this might be fixed? I'm assuming there must be some kind of setting or something that needs to be used on the emulator in order for it to recognise those little boxes/coins on the tracks.

    Help would be muchly appreciated

I just tried playing this on zSNES 1.51 and it works fine for me. Maybe you got a bad dump?

Definitely sounds like an emulation problem, though I known ZSNES v1.36 to be pretty stable (as still using it - for can't say the same for v1.51, having constant problems with the second port (Mario RPG mostly), plus a couple non-working games (Dr. Mario/Tetris, Wildsnake, Yoshi's Island, etc...).
