Hello, I joined this forum for this one problem that I tend to have right now.

Let me start with the beginning. I was showing some friends Tales of Destiny II (Tales of Eternia), and some of them wanted to play too. Since I hadn't ever touched the multitap system on ePSXe, I assumed it would work when I tried it. However, here comes my luck and the Multitap doesn't recognize any of my controllers at all.

I've searched all over the internet attempting to find a way to play this game in multitap mode. Most of them have no real answers, so maybe the guys here could help.

What have I already done?

I have the emulator and all of the necessary plugins for it to work.

I have four controllers which all were set up fine with no trouble in each of the multitapped menu.

I downloaded an older version of the emulator (1.6.0) with no luck either.

I have attempted to toggle the digital/analog on the controllers, but no cigar.

I have run the game in two player mode with no multitap mode and gotten perfect results.

I have set the game up to notice that there were players active.

I have read the ngemu forums entire search fo multitap and found nothing but people making fun of members who want multitap to work but couldn't figure it out, as well as read through the readme thoroughly in a desperate cry for help.

So before I ask this, can anyone give me some serious help on how to get multiplayer working? I'm not new to emulators, but the PSX is so confusing!
