everytime i load the game a message appears that says " This game doesn't work properly " at first i thought it was the rom, but i've tried using many different ones from different websites. Does anyone know what's wrong?

Yes the game doesn't work properly.
That screen is installed in mame to display when a game isn't properly emulated. There's nothing wrong with your rom, mame is just telling you that its not fully supported yet. Some work better than others, some don't work at all.
However in the case of MvsC it is reported as working ok in new builds of mame. What version of mame are you using?.

Thanks F.T. but I decided to download the kawaks emulator to run it and it WORKED
