I am using visual boy advance1.8.0 beta3. The game I'm playing is Pokemon red rescue team. I'm trying to use the wonder mail codes to get the last friends areas I need. I've been using the shift+1 save states, but now I need to use the in-game save system to be able to save and use the wondermail. Everytime I try to use the in game save it always says "save failed"
What settings should I use to make the in-game save work? I'm really far into the game, and would love to avoid the need to restart all over again.
