If I were to setup my PS3 controller to work with Nestopia, how should I go about it as I have it plugged in and the lights are blinking but it won't work but the laptop reads it
are you using the SIXAXIS driver?
If m$ installed a driver is has to be an HID. IS this an actual ps3, or a look-a-like
Do you know how to look in Device Manager
unless I'm missing something m$ has no business installing divers to PlayStation peripherals. That is Either a hid compliant or you acquired a drive somewhere and didnt know it. Or, I'm missing something....
The PS3 controller does get recognized by Windows, but before the controller reacts on our request, the following driver should be installed. (Tested under Windows XP and Windows Vista).
Ok found your answer here.
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/mcpp/wiredps3axis.aspx
driver here. SixAxis on Windows.
If that fails try this.. ( warning direct link to an exe ).
- Ah, yeah.. Try that second link if the first wont work.(Tested under Windows XP and Windows Vista).

Beats me but you can read that page I reference. I think its some sort of a driver install. My guess is after running that you can restart and you are good to go. Only a guess.
make sure the analog light is on always. If your using epsxe make sure you set up the analogs right, they can be tricky.
