    Default vba black screen

    i recently found i had a backup folder for my vba and i loaded myh pokemon ruby and i loaded state 1 but after it shows where i saved it the screen goes black . i also tried loading a sgm file it show the image but it freezes.




    any help would be apreciated

    pokemon ruby and all i did was load the sgm and it shows the game where i saved it but it freezes i also used f1 to load state but it shows where i saved it and it goes black but if i hold down f1 it keep loading the state but u can see the menu moving and stuff

    Sounds to me like a bad/corrupted save file, but you can also try a new emulator, or a new rom to make sure. Try all these things out first. Your save file should stay in tact.

    yeh, a new emulator might work. i've heard that No$GBA is a good one, but i don't use it meself, only for NDS.

    thanks for the reply i don't mean to be sarcastic but what u said was the obvious thing to try first - by the way no$gba doesnt accept sgm files

    ok, serious, i think i might have found something. go to this page and look for a question called "Sometimes i get a black screen.What's wrong?" and click on it. that might help.
