No, you can't. It is not fully emulating yet. Give it a least 2 years, perhaps.

when i try to trade pokemon in leaf green (trying to get my haunter and kadabra to evolve) it always comes up: Undefined opcode - with no debug vector defined

I finished on: 2:55 at GMT on the 28th of October 2007. That took me 5 hours and 55 minutes!!!(+ one hour for daylight savings time
