i cannot get the controls to work i dont understand this up/left right/left left/left

its spend the last hour trying to work it out

any tips?

Smash TV used two joysticks the left stick controlled movement while the right stick was used to direct your fire (just like Robotron2084 or more recent games like Geometry Wars).

So if you think of them in terms of the two joysticks then <direction>/left refers to the left joystick controller and <direction>/right refers to the right joystick controller.

I had the same problems after downloading this for MAME. The Playstation 2 port controls well. I am using a Logitech game pad too for my PC version of the game. I hear it is the worst, but i figured out the control scheme within 20 minutes of screwing with it.
