ePSXe --- can't play two-player mode with USB Joy? Please help.

Okay. So i have this Super Joy Box 5 Pro USB which allows me to plug in PS/PS2 controllers and play PS1 games on my laptop. It works great if i only play in one-player mode, but when i try to play the two-player mode, it just doesn't work.

I'm using ePSXe 1.6.0 right now by the way. In the Controller Pad, it shows that there are "Pad 1" and "Pad 2" in bold, so i know that it detects the controller #2, but for some reason, it just doesn't work when i play any games that have the two-player mode.

In pad2 settings do you see j2 instead of j1 for button assignments?

Also how does it not work? Do you mean joystick2 just has no response, while joystick 2 does?
