everyone uses zsnes for snes games. i think project 64 is the best for n64
I hate all of you, especially donkeyknob.
I agree too that, I use Project64 and its the most used online if your looking to play online.Originally posted by onewecallgod@Sep 6 2004, 01:55 AM

Snes9x is really good but i like zsnes jus as much but i dont think snes9x has and online play but i know that zsnes has and online play installer
For SNES i like Znese because u can change the speed, also Snes9X runs games too fast.
For N64 I like both 1964 and PJ.
1964 Has a little problem though, sometimes it won't save in the state so when saving save twice on one state K
Gaming is life
Life is a game
the game of life has many bonus levels
the game of life has many dead ends
Many play games thier entire life
so play the game of life and game ur life away
My reccomendations:
Snes-Zsnes,although Snes9X is very good as well. Both work fine with every game I've tried, and I'ne tried a lot...
Not for me...also Snes9X runs games too fast![]()
N64-1964 as long as you get a different video plugin than the one that comes with it...
I've been using 1964 for a long time now and I have never faced that problem. Are you sure you aren't doing sth wrong?1964 Has a little problem though, sometimes it won't save in the state so when saving save twice on one state K

umm.. PJ64 online? pls help.. I wanna try it too..
thanx:P
For the Snes i will try to explain it from my personal point of view in other words by my personal experience.
If you have a computer from 300-700MHZ you better use ZSNES cause it can really work well even in slow computers.
If you have a computer from 1.1GHZ -2.4GHZ you better use SNES9X cause it runs the games very well.
When i was using my old computer 600Mhz i used ZSNES cause SNES9X really screw up it needed a lot of RAM.
Now that i have a 1.8GHZ processor i use SNES9X cause it has better sound that's my primary reason why i use SNES9X and runs the games very smoothly ,ugual to a
REAL SNES.
For the N64 I suggest 1964 even it has not the compatibility of Project 64 it has what we all want BETTER SPEED.

What was I thinking, i can watch BLU RAY with my PS3, and the game prices has dropped significantly,so i am happy again with my PS3!
I've always used Zsnes, probably due in large part to the fact that it was the first one I tried. Also, I particularly like that Zsnes allows me to use the CTRL and ALT keys as buttons A and B, something which Snes9x won't.
That being said, I have found a few games that run much better on Snes9x, most specifically Tales Of Phantasia. Load that one up and go to a battle screen in each emulator and you'll see quite a difference in the fluidity of the action.
same thing for the seventh saga
