Why no need to buy this game ? You do not understand. The Wii gets a new firmware update. It's suggested you do not update your console if you plan on playing the Twilight Hack!
Good news:
Your Wii will not brick nor will unofficial channels (Homebrew or Virtual Console). There's still more information to be confirmed.
