Awesome, thanks for the reply...I was also wondering how exactly I load PS1 roms (once I have the emulator)cause the PS1 roms/games are always split into several seprate files when you download...instead of the usual 1 for classic games.

Well some Iv seen are in multiple .rar files, like it'll all be one game but youd need to download like 15 seprate files for it...others Iv seen are ISOs.

I friend told me that you need ISOs for PS emulation,Im new too Playstation Emu so Im not sure how it works,Im just used too programs like Zsnes and Kega Fusion.

On a side note, since my PC is strong enough to run Playstation emu then I guess its safe to assume I could do N64 emu also, right?(sorry thats a bit off topic)

The multimple rar files are just a single truncated rar file. Click on any of them and winrar will open up and extract as normal. To run an ISO, you have two options: use the load ISO option in ePSXe (or other PS1 emulators, I don't know if others support this function), or mount the ISO using Daemon Tools.

Ok thanks,I'll get ePSXe and give it a-go,if I have any problems I'll come back to this thread.

OK I got ePSXe and downloaded the Silent Hill ISO and it all works

Oh and,do I really need the sPSXeCutor? I was reading and from what I gather its just a shortcut kinda thing to open ePSXe.

I also downloaded that Delta program that lets you play actual PS1 discs on your PC,do I really need that too? I only downloaded all 3 PS1 emu programs from this site cause it said I should.

Psxecuter is more than just a shortcut. It is a front-end program, that provides a user interface that is easy to use and setup. If I'm not mistaken, the core files provide a command prompt driven emulator only, or probably a less than stellar GUI..
