Default How Do I Clean My "Roms" Folder for MAME?

There are a lot of files in my "Roms" folder for MAME that are the same game; four or five. There are also a lot of game titles I don't think I'll be wanting to play. Is there an easy way to approach this, or am I going to have to click each one and figure out if I'm going to keep it or not? Any response will be very much appreciated. Thank-you.

If you're using MameUI32 then you can use the filters in the left hand pane to just display Originals etc.

If you're using a different front-end with commandline mame most of them will let you apply filters using the catver.ini and you can filter out all the clone roms, non working games and whatever else you don't want displayed.

    Hope that helps.
