    where can i get one other than importing and ebay?

    Indy game shops that sell retro, Classified ads in the paper, and UK retro forums. Other than that you are going to have to import or ebay for it, as its a niche machine over here and retro.

    As a matter of interest though why would you need an NTSC one?, far quicker and cheaper to get a standard UK PS1 and have it chipped, does exactly the same job.

    Or you can download and burn an importplayer ISO on a CD-R and use that to run your NTSC ISOs on a PAL console the console still needs to be chipped for this...

    If the consoles chipped though the NTSC games will work anyway.

    thats not always true I err... destroyed my big PS1 once... and I had to get a new one.. bought myself a PSOne (you know...the small version) got it chipped again but NTSC games still wouldn't run on it but with the importplayer I got they do run
