Prgramming a stearing wheel into Project 64

I have thw wheel installed but when I go to the controller plug in and turn the wheel nothing happens. How do I program the racing wheel into it?

The wheel should use the analog x axis. If it has buttons you should be able to program that. In the plugin you should see your wheel in the drop down. If so select it and it should work. If you dont have any luck you may by able to use a joy2key type of app. If its logitec that could also be the trouble.
