ps2 for xbox 360?

Right now (and not likely in the future) PSCX2 has no port for the XBOX 360, from what I understand, because it is very difficult as it is just getting PS2 games to work on powerful PCs. Running PS2 games on an outdated gaming machine with not a whole lot of power will be very tough, and I don't think the XBOX 360 will be a valid candidate by the time an emulator is created which runs almost perfectly. Sorry.

the xbox360 is ALOT more powerful than ps2. it's sort of stupid that no one has ever thought of porting the emu to a more powerful system....

As has been mentioned on emulation forums all over the web on a regular basis. The relative power of the emulated system has absolutely no bearing on the host machines suitability or ability to emulate it. The X-Box 360 isn't anywhere near as architecturally suitable as a current top-end PC (which is needed to even start trying to emulate the PS2).

With emulation almost everything is done in software meaning that to emulate any console that has dedicated graphics or sound chips all that work thats normally done by seperate bits of hardware has to be done by the emulating systems CPU. Its sort of like using a PC with no graphics card and then trying to emulate a powerful graphics card using nothing but the CPU.

Not. Going. To. Happen.
