    Default Ripped Audio Tracks

    Just wanted to know the bitrate everyone rips their music at, and which format(just curious).....Please move this if in wrong location!

    mine is MP3 at 192kbps

    MP3 at 192 kbps CBR stereo for general music.
    MP3 at 96 kbps CBR mono for streaming (ie. DJ sessions).
    AAC at 64 kbps for mobile.

    I use Variable Bitrate MP3 for things I rip myself or convert from a lossless source, otherwise I leave them as CBR if they came that way and try DL at least 192kbps

    Windows Media Audio 9 (Variable Bit Rate) at 85-145 kbps, using Windows Media Player 11

    Wow, it's been a long time since I ripped a CD. I really love my unlimited music subscription!

    i usually rip mine in eather mp3 or in m4a
