i feel stupid but...here is my problem, i was playing ff8 and somehow my save game became corrupted. I would hate to play all the way through the first 2 disks just to get where i was in the game so i need help finding a game save and/or converting a downloaded game save into something i can use with epsxe 1.6.0. i have all the necessary plug ins and pec cheater. i downloaded a save that is in the .gme format and not in the .mcd format that epsxe uses. if someone could point me in the right direction, that would be a great help.

Only search in the net and found you game save, rename for the same you iso name, put in the foulder save, go in epsxe configuration select the game save e no problem.Ready to play.
