PSXeven Plugin Help

Hello all, I've started using PSXeven as an alternate emu because ePSXe sucks with Chrono Cross, and naturallly I want to use my sixaxis like I did with ePSXe. I tried adding Dr Hell's to my plugin folder and PSXeven got F'd up. Basically, what I am asking is, using the plugin manager, how do you add plugins?
EDIT: I also tried Harikir's or whatever and NRAge's, no difference.
