psp emulator question

Hi, this is my first time ever trying to get a emulator to work on a PSP. I dont know if i have to downgrade it or what ever.

Currently I have tried the SNES and it sorta worked. Just when I tried to get it to run it said the file is corrupt. I just tried the GameBoy emulator and it said the same thing. Thanks in advance for the help.

What firmware is on your psp? It needs to be firmware 1.00/1.50 or homebrew enabled if you want it to run homebrew...
