Trouble saving In 'Lunar Legend' on VBA

Using VBA 1.80 beta-3.
While playing the 'Lunar Legend', I am unable to save the game. I go into the menu -> save/load game and pick an empty slot. I get the message 'Saving' and 'Please don't turn off power or remove the GamePak' but that's it, no save shows up. It's not really a big issue since I use savestates whenever I stop playing, but I am unable to view my Cards or the Gallery since I have no save file.


Any help?

P.S I had saved the save type on my VBA to get Super Mario Advance 3 working. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Try no$gba emulator. It is a very nice emulator.
