About the VBA-M project
Hey there, mudlord here, writing this very document to explain how the whole idea behind this project started.

First off, Hard core Rikki put up the notion that there should be one build that has all the addons and fixes from all the various different VBA forks and merge them all into one easy-to-use emulator. At the time, I had a insatiable appetite for C/C++ programming (and still do), and so I decided to start to port some things into Spacy's VBA build. From there, DJRobX (known for his work on the graphics filters in MEKA), added optimized assembler filters to VBA, as well as some other fixes that he wanted to add. From there, work has been done by the various members of the team (including me) at a insane pace. And it still isn't stopping. We recently also got on board Nach and Jonas Quinn, two ZSNES developers with Linux experience, to aid us in our journey....
And so we continue on this sojourn.

Our Project Goals

Our goal is to improve upon VisualBoyAdvance by integrating the best features from the various builds floating around. Unfortunately work on the “official” project seems to have stalled. Independent developers have added excellent features to VBA, but seem to have done so individually. The source codes for many of these forks seem to be abandoned, outdated or missing altogether. We aim to preserve all of the hard work done by these developers to make the already great VisualBoyAdvance even better!

Download from here :)
