how do i enter my own gameshark cheats and make then plugin game? someone walk me thru please!

ePSXe emulator you are using, right ? If so, in order to use Gameshark on ePSXe you need to get "PEC" (PSX Emulation Cheater).

Grab PEC:

Download and install both pec and ePSXe.
I installed my pec to my directory where ePSXe is in a folder named PEC.
Make sure you choose your ePSXe plugins folder when it ask.
Create a shortcut to desktop.
Skip the config, and don't launch it yet.

psx Configuration:
Start ePSXe, click config, then Video,
from the drop down menu select psx emulation cheater 2.5,
click the configure tab in that same window, and another window will
appear, from the drop down menu this time select you video plugin, click
Config and fix your settings.
Once you're done press OK, and OK.

Start your game and get in game play.
Start pec, click the jump to game into drive, option of which your game is in.
You're game should show up, if it doesn't it usually means that the version
of your game is not in the list. So find your game title in the list
if it doesn't come up on it's own. 99.99% of the time the codes will work anyway.

Select your codes, but don't over do it!.
click send cheats to plugin, and your done.
You can go back and deactivate cheats if you need to, or you can activate more. Just make sure you click send cheats to plugin.

pec also has a User database, default key F3, that you can add your own cheats to.
I prefer to add mine to the codelist.inf manually in pecs main directory.
