    Default BIOS problem

    i got the ps1 emulator of this site but when i try to play a game it says auto confige failed to detect a valid bios image. you must set up manually.
    i click ok
    it says: GPU auto detect failed u must set up this option automatically.
    I click ok.
    it has the option to change Bios: i click change but in my bios file it has nothing what do i do please help

    In order to use a Playstation emulator you need a playstation bios (the most common being schp1001.bin).
    However the bios is subject to copyright exactly the same as game roms meaning we cannot advise, discuss or provide any links to where it can be obtained online as this site prohibits discussion of romsites or illegally aquiring other copyright material.

    Google might help though.

    You must download it somewhere from google.com and unzip it and put it into bios folder and have your emulator config to find it.

    to get it legally, you must own a real PSX, and then dump the BIOS yourself,

    there are a couple of easy ways to do this (hard one was hooking your hardware to your PC)

    this one is a little simpler.
