EMULATOR GAMES CONTROLLERS...

I RECENTLY FOUND OUT ABOUT EMULATORS AND IVE DOWNLOADED A COUPLE...
SUPER NINTENDO
NINTENDO 64
XBOX
AND DREAMCAST

I HAVE A PC CONTROLLER, LOGITECH DUAL ACTION....
Y WONT IT WORK WITH THESE EMULATORS?... CAN ANYONE HELP...?

I will say first that logitec will give you the most trouble do to the nature of there drivers. Secondly the best way to enjoy emulation is with original joysticks. and there are adapters you can buy to do this. They all for the most part use HID (human interface device) to drive the adapter. Third they are cheep..

Ok to help with the logitec we need some info...

First, I know you said they dont work with any, but let's test one and if we fix that we may get the rest working.

so..

1) what emulator (pick one for now)

2) when you go to the control panel and in game controllers, does your joystick show?

Let's just assume your using project64. If step 2 is good, then when in project64 controller config what happens when you try to define a button? .. anything?
