Xenogears Help

Whenever i try loading Xenogears all it does is open a black screen and stays that way can someone help me ? do i need a patch or cheat for it or something?

You load it from iso or from a CD?

I'm at the part right after Yggdrasil is destoyed and during the cut-scene where Fei is running from the cross and sees the image of himself as a child, the camera pans around little Fei, but the game freezes. Is there any solution to this problem?

Load the game from a CD.If you load it from ISO it may freeze in many areas.
