Not quite frozen

I'm playing Final Fantasy 7, and I'm at the point where you just get to Costa Del Sol and I tried to talk to the guy that's sitting on the airplane and now I can't move. The game doesn't freeze there but, I can't move. Now, this wouldn't normally be a bad, because I save often, but instead of hitting F3, to load my last save, I hit F1.

Is there anything I can do? Is there anyway I can manually move to a different point in the game? Or do I just have to find someone with a save point similar to where I am?

Your probably going to have to find someone with a save point simmilar to yours unless you know how to open and edit saved games
