Thread: NO$GBA Question: Can I save my progess with a DS game that doesn't create .SAV files?

Default NO$GBA Question: Can I save my progess with a DS game that doesn't create .SAV files?

Some DS games don't prompt you to save your progress, and auto-save instead. An example is Elite Beat Agents, which has no save option, and doesn't create a .SAV file, at least in my experience.

Do I have to switch to another battery option in order to save a game of this kind? Or is there another method?

One more question: What is a 'snapshot'? I've tried saving snapshots of a few different DS ROMs, but they don't seem to load. Is it a feature that's only supported for GBA ROMs, or something?

    Thanks for your time.

For Elite Beat Agents.. You must have a certain correct saving type to create a .SAV.

Please set it to FLASH 256kbytes and click RESET CARTRIDGE. It did create a .sav just fine.

A snapshot is like Save State and it didnt work for NDS roms yet. It's working for GBA roms only.
