Wierd Tekken 3 memory bug/problem

Hi, I'm playing tekken 3 on ePSXe and I have a wierd problem saving the data on it. I got all the chars except for gon and dr.b, and untill than the data saving was perfect and I still has the data. but after i got all the chars except for gon and dr.b it just stopped saving. it all started when after I got all the chars it said "auto save error". than, for example, after i beat gon at the beach ball game, I got him, and also the wierd thing is that I'm also actually saving manualy and it says "save ok!". and its not like its supposed to be like this and gon is not supposed to be saved or something, it also won't save my survivle mod records.
Need suggestions please.

Do you Have PEC installed? Could you try disabling it first, (select only a few codes)
