Visualboy Advance garbled sound

Has anyone had problems with the sound on VBA momentarily becoming garbled and then "fixing" itself? It seems to repeat in some sort of pattern when it will do this from time to time.

So far I've only been playing GB/GBC games so I don't know if it's a unique problem to them or what.

I have had the same problims with my Nentindo 64 emulater I belive im may be the game files but yet it may be something else
