Yeah, I get what your saying about live debates. So many politicians change there stance on issues anyways. Most live debates we see know is mediocre politicians trying to 'call-out' their opponents. Its not really about discussing issues as much as it is knocking their fellow policians credibility. Most politicians I like don't get into many debates. If a debate is on Fox news or CNN, I especially won't watch it because they can really control the debate and make certain candidates shine a little brighter.

Anyways, I'll move on cause I think I'm getting a little off the initial topic

Well the thread is effectively finished any way so I'll just make a new thread and it's cool.

While I think moderators can definitely throw softball questions, they can hardly totally control the debate - least not in the way I think you mean.

As for FOX, their evening news coverage was rated the most balanced of all networks by The Center for Media and Public Affairs, arguably one of the most non-partisan and most respected outfights in the country.

Of course half the Internet is filled with liberals screaming about how it isn't so (reality goes out the window when non-partisan organizations actually say something positive about conservatives or perceived conservative news networks), trying to dump the heat on Commentators, who are not Anchors and who do not host news shows at all.. lol

I guess that's life in the USA these days.
