I now it sounds weird but Microsoft may consider using SONY's Blue-ray If you don't believe me check it out here
But I think it may not be possible because Microsoft may need to sign a deal with SONY.

But I'm sure as hell glad I didn't buy one of these

Me too. But it thanks to one of these that the encryption on HD DVDs was circumvented.
