    Default arcade control help

so am i right to assume that using the guides out there to mod a psx controller to respond to arcade game controls the same idea would work with an xbox controller? this would obviously be preferable since it could easily be modded to be a usb connecter, without having to buy an adapter.

anyone know if this is possible?

or if a guide exists? (cant hurt to have a refrence)

I guess you could gut out any controller and make them usb like this. Most people want to keep the original in tact and user adapters. But if the joystick goes bad or brakes you need to gut out another.
