Thread: VBA, crashing before it starts.

Default VBA, crashing before it starts.

I've recently downloaded Visual Boy Advance, tried to run it, and it almost crashed my computer. After I clicked on it, the hourglass came up for a few seconds and then "Visual Boy Advance has encountered a problem and needs to close." Then my computer would barely respond for a few minutes then everything would be ok. I'm running XP, and I've looked over quite a few installation tutorials/FAQs with no luck.

Oh, and also a Norton alert pops up when windows starts to work again, says I'm being intruded from my own IP. This may be my problem, but I downloaded it from the VBA website, linked from here. I also disabled Norton to try and run it, and still nothing. Any Ideas?
