    Default Emulators on the PSP

    I know this is probably a stupid question....

    Can you use an Emulation program on a non-hacked PSP?

    Umm yes and no

    To run homebrew your PSP must be running either the offical firmware version 1.50 (or 1.00), or any of the custom firmwares that are available...

    Currently all revisions of the PSP including slim 'n' lite can be "enabled" for homebrew. Some revisions and depending on the current version firmware they are running may require you to jump through hoops to become homebrewable, but it is worth it..
