ZiNc sound problems

I can imagine this subject has been covered a million times before so ill make it quick.

Ive been using zinc through my frontend and it runs sweet as hell, i can get 69fps easy.
when i turn on the sound the speed drops to about 65fps, the problem is is that when i turn off the sound games like tekken 3,mr driller and ehrgeiz dont work at all. my question is, is there a way to get these games to run with sound off?

umm... Ever tried just turning your speakers off?

That would have no effect the problem is one with the zinc.exe itself.
